Here's your daily look at five stories we're following:

1. Christie's travels: New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has spent considerable time on the road as chairman of the Republican Governors Association, and is due to make several more trips this week, heading to Maine today and Alabama and Mississippi on Wednesday. The governor says the trips are part of his duties as the RGA's leader, but New Jersey residents still believe he's preparing a presidential campaign: A Rutgers-Eagleton poll out today found that 57 percent of those surveyed expect Christie to run in 2016.

2. Veterans Wheelchair Games: The National Veterans Wheelchair Games, being held this year in Philadelphia and South Jersey, begin today.

3. Mourning Robin Williams: Actor and comedian Robin Williams died Monday night in an apparent suicide, stunning fans across the country. Many Philadelphians took to social media to express their sadness at the news of his death.

4. DNC visit prep: Philadelphia officials are preparing to pitch the city to Democratic National Committee officials, who will arrive tomorrow as part of the selection process to choose the 2016 Demoocratic National Convention site.

5. Philly schools funding: Philadelphia School District Superintendent William Hite and House Majority Leade Mike Turzai had a "positive" meeting on Monday, but it remains unclear whether Philadelphia schools will have the funds to open on time. Hite says he won't decide whether students will head to class on Sept. 8 as scheduled until Friday.
