Here's your daily look at five stories we're following:

1. Lindback Awards: The prestigious Lindback Foundation's Principal Awards will be presented at a ceremony this afternoon at the Wilma Theater. Seven Philadelphia principals are being honored.

2. Earth Day: Today is Earth Day, and events marking the occasion are scheduled this week and into the weekend.

3. Stanley Cup playoffs: The Flyers return to the Wells Fargo Center tonight for Game 3 of their playoff series against the New York Rangers.

4. Transit-oriented development: A hearing is scheduled in Upper Darby this morning about how state laws could better encourage development near mass transit.

5. Natural gas at Marcus Hook: Sunoco officials are slated to explain their plans to turn the former Marcus Hook refinery site into a center for processing and shipping natural gas at a public forum tonight.
