5 stories to follow: April 15

We're back from the weekend with five stories to have on your radar today:

1. Collins out as Sixers coach: Sources say 76ers coach Doug Collins won't return next year as head coach. Collins, in his third season with one year left on his contract, will reportedly end his tenure as head coach with the Sixers' final game at Indiana on Wednesday.

2. Tour boats back to the Schuylkill: Riverboat tours on the Schuylkill River will resume next month. Tours ran from 2006 to 2011, but ended when the vendor managing them decided not to continue.

3. Road repairs: It's spring, which means it's road-construction season in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. State and local transportation departments have a slew of projects on tap. Officials say there are more potholes than usual, and extensive repairs are needed after Hurricane Sandy.

4. SEPTA fare hearings: Public hearings for SEPTA's new fare proposals start today. The hearings are about the transit agency's plans for fare increases and new smart-card system. Today's hearings are at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Delaware County Courthouse in Media. More hearings are scheduled in Montgomery County on Tuesday, Philadelphia on Wednesday, Chester County on Friday and Bucks County next Monday.

5. Tax day: Taxes are due today. File yours, or get an extension from the IRS. Need help? Here are a few resources.
