Here's your daily look at five stories to know about:

1. Sebelius stepping down: Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will resign today, with President Barack Obama slated to nominate Office of Management and Budget director Sylvia Mathews Burwell as her successor.

2. OT spending: Prisons Commissioner Louis Giorla told City Council members at a budget hearing that the inmate population and guard vacancies are behind the department's rampant use of overtime.

3. Return to the 70s: Temperatures could reach the 70s today and over the weekend -- a mark the mercury hasn't reached since early November.

4. Dropped sting developments: Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane has sent a letter to Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams telling him to take up a case in which a sting investigation reportedly caught Philadelphia public officials accepting cash or gifts. Williams has been one of the harshest critics of Kane's decision to drop the probe. Meanwhile, a judge has unsealed a number of documents related to the investigation.

5. Sandy documentary: A new documentary, called Shored Up, examines Superstorm Sandy, coastal development and sea-level rises. The film will screen tonight and over the weekend in Lamerbertville.
