Media analyst Craig Moffett draws parallels between Microsoft's investment in the Philadelphia cable TV company and Google's $12.5 billion deal with Motorola Mobility.

Can't tell if it's a "Thank God it's Friday" or "Oh my God, it's Friday."

Will the Google-Motorola marriage change TV as we know it? Not according to Bernstein Research analyst Craig Moffett who reminds us that Microsoft's investment in Comcast in the olden days hasn't made Windows the way we watch "Conan."

Death remains a growth business for Levittown's StoneMor Partners. The company said it bought five cemeteries and four funeral homes in Puerto Rico for $4.6 million. That gives StoneMor 269 cemeteries and 66 funeral homes in 27 states and the island that would be a state.
