La Salle yesterday released its non-conference schedule and announced that two sophomore guards have decided to transfer.

Parrish Grant and T.T. Carey have been granted releases to transfer, the school said.

“Parrish and T.T. played a significant role on our team last year,” coach John Giannini said in a statement. “I appreciate their efforts and support them.”

Grant, of Imhotep Charter, averaged 17 minutes and 2.9 points in 27 games. Carey, of Colonial Beach, Va., averaged 9 minutes and 2.4 points in 17 games.

The Explorers will open the season at home on Nov. 12 against Columbia and their first road trip will be on Nov. 16 against Baylor, which made the Elite Eight last season.

Other highlights include Villanova coming to Tom Gola Arena on Dec. 12 and a Jan. 12 game against Penn, with the location to be determined.
