Stokes expected to start tonight for Villanova

Villanova guard Corey Stokes is expected to start tonight against Syracuse at the Wells Fargo Center, coach Jay Wright said.

Stokes has missed the last three games with a foot injury. Villanova is 2-1 in those games.

Wright cautioned that it is possible Stokes could take part in pregame warmups and decide that he cannot play.

Stokes is the team's second-leading scorer at 14.6 points per game.
