LaSalle has received a commitment from Rutgers transfer Earl Pettis, a source told the Daily News.

Pettis, a 6-5 guard, started 20 games for the Scarlet Knights and averaged 4.6 points and 2.5 rebounds. He averaged 3.2 points and 2.0 rebounds, mostly off the bench, as a freshman.

Pettis, from Neumann-Goretti, was looking to return home and chose LaSalle over Temple and Rider.

Look for more in tomorrow's Daily News.

Lay off burrs, he is the man. He knows more about these kids than any of you! I wouldn't be surprised to see Pettis end up like a hybrid version of Reggie Redding - Rodney Green - Michael Jordan. The has IT!

When is the last time La Salle played a NCAA Tournament game? Saint Joseph's (PA) is the second best team in Philadelphia. One word for all you La Salle chumps: PERFECTION!!

wcburrs87, get a freaking life!! Watching high school kids in the shower?? Do something more productive, like make photoshop pictures of Villanova or something. That is what I do. Whenever Saint Joseph's (PA) loses to Villanova, I do some serious damage to my photoshop. I will draw breasts on Scottie Reynolds, or a booger hanging from Corey Fisher's nose, or put Dante Cunningham in crutches. Cool stuff like that. Then I will post them in various newsgroups so that everybody can laugh with me. You La Salle fans should start doing the same.
