Owls' Allen named Big 5 player of year

Temple senior Lavoy Allen has been voted the Big 5 Outstanding Player of the Year by the Herb Good Basketball Club. He will receive the Robert V. Geasey Trophy at the Big 5 banquet on April 25 in the Fox-Gittis Room at the Liacouras Center.

Temple senior Lavoy Allen has been voted the Big 5 Outstanding Player of the Year by the Herb Good Basketball Club. He will receive the Robert V. Geasey Trophy at the Big 5 banquet on April 25 in the Fox-Gittis Room at the Liacouras Center.

Other All-Big 5 members are: Temple’s Ramone Moore, Villanova’s Corey Fisher and Corey Stokes and Penn’s Zack Rosen.

The second team is: Penn’s Jack Eggleston, Temple’s Juan Fernandez, Saint Joseph’s Carl Jones, La Salle’s Aaric Murray and Villanova’s Maalik Wayns.
