There are three games on the schedule today, all part of something bigger. La Salle and Saint Joseph's are playing in the 24-hour hoops marathon put together by ESPN. Villanova is playing in the Preseason NIT. La Salle's opponent, Baylor, is nationally ranked.

Notes: The game is part of ESPN's 24-hour College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon. Explorers freshman guard Tyreek Duren (Ss. Neumann-Goretti High) was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week yesterday. He had eight points and nine assists in the season-opening 82-71 victory over Columbia ... La Salle senior guard Ruben Guillandeaux was selected Big 5 player of the week. He scored 29 points against Columbia ... Baylor guard LaceDarius Dunn was suspended for three games after he was arrested last month after police accused him of breaking his girlfriend's jaw in a domestic dispute. The woman, Lacharlesla Edwards, said Dunn didn't hit her and her jaw wasn't broken. She is the mother of Dunn's 3-year-old son.

Talor Battle led the Nittany Lions with 21 points.
