LaSalle senior Rodney Green and Temple sophomore Lavoy Allen have been named to National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 4 First Team.

They are joined on the first team by Xavier's Jordan Crawford, Richmond's Kevin Anderson and Duquesne’s Damian Saunders. All are now eligible for NABC All-America consideration.

Green led the Explorers with an 18.5 scoring average, ranking third in the Atlantic 10. The Philadelphia native also averaged 5.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game in his final campaign. Green ends his career ninth on the all-time points (1,914) and assists (390) lists at La Salle.

Allen averaged 11.7 points and 10.9 rebounds for the Owls, who are heading to the NCAA Tournament. He also shot 53 percent from the field.

The second team was Temple’s Ryan Brooks, Rhode Island’s Keith Cothran and Delroy James, Charlotte’s Shamari Spears and Dayton’s Chris Wright.
