People magazine announced this morning what we reported two weeks ago, that Rydal raised "Hangover" star Bradley Cooper is the magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive." The announcement was made on NBC's "Today" show.

On Nov. 3, we wrote that Cooper, 36, was to be photographed the next weekend for the magazine's Sexiest Man Alive issue, but People said it could neither confirm nor deny our information, and Cooper's rep denied he was shooting for the issue.

A few days later we reported that Cooper's photo shoot had taken place at the Fort Washington estate of former Advanta CEO Dennis Alter.

But enough about us.

Here's a quote from the Germantown Academy graduate who's in town shooting "The Silver Linings Playbook," about his SMA honor.

"I think it's really cool that a guy who doesn't look like a model can have this [title]," "I think I'm a decent-looking guy. Sometimes I can look great, and other times I look horrifying,"
