Wally Kennedy returning to TV

After a five-year hiatus from television, veteran broadcaster

returns to TV Feb. 1 to co-host alongside Comcast matriarch

on her weekly show “Seeking Solutions with Suzanne.”

Kennedy, a longtime 6ABC host, now works nights and weekends as a news anchor on KYW NewsRadio 1060 and says he was thrilled for the opportunity. “I’m 60. There’s not a lot of people on TV over 60, period,” Kennedy told us earlier tonight. He realizes he’s now the youthful element of the show next to Roberts, a fun, free-spirited octogenarian.

“The show’s message is to live life to the fullest,” Kennedy says. “She’s a wonderful woman,” he says of Roberts. “I’d want to know her and be her friend even if we weren’t working together.”

The half-hour lifestyle show can now be seen at 6 p.m. Sundays on the Comcast Network, formerly CN8. But on Feb. 1 the show moves to 7:30 p.m., rebroadcast Fridays at 1 p.m and also streams live online at suzanne.tv. The show also runs in five minute segments at 11:55 a.m., 1:55 and 3:55 p.m. daily during CNN Headline News.
