"Crush on Obama" singer and songwriter Leah Kauffman is back with a new video and single, "Still Got a Crush on Obama." But unlike the 2008 video sensation which featured model Amber Lee Ettinger lip synching to Kauffman's voice, this time the Old City resident appears in her own video.

Kauffman, 26, a Jenkintown native, says she was inspired to write her new song after an ABC News story wondered what the girl who wrote "Crush on Obama" thought of President Obama's performance.

"It's something I believe in," Kauffman said of her new song, which is available on iTunes. "When I wrote the original song it came from my heart," Kauffman said.

The Abington High School and Temple University graduate is the executive producer of arts and entertainment and style for Philly.com.

Kauffman's first song that led to a viral video was "Box in a Box," a parody response to the SNL Digital Short "Dick in a Box," with Andy Samberg and Justin Timberlake.

"Still Got a Crush on Obama" was shot in part on the lawn of the National Constitution Center and features dancers from Club Lyfestile.
