"The Lovely Bones" release pushed back to January 15

"The Lovely Bones," will not be released Christmas Day. The film has been pushed back until January 15, a spokesman for the movie said this morning. The Peter Jackson film, which shot in the area in Fall 2007, stars Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz, and Stanley Tucci, and was based on Malvern native Alice Sebold's book, which the author, a Great Valley High graduate, set in Norristown, about a little girl who is murdered and who looks down from Heaven to see how her death has affected the lives of her family and friends.
