Terrell Owens is one of ABC's "Superstars."

As if Terrell Owens’ ego needed any more stroking, he’s now part of a show called “Superstars,” on ABC. The former Eagles wide receiver, now with the Buffalo Bills, will be partnered with model Joanna Krupa in the series which premieres June 23. The six-episode show teams athletes with celebrities to compete in sports and other physical challenges. The reality-series is now shooting at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. ABC has resurrected the series which it aired in the 80’s and 90s. Joining Owens from the sports scene are former tennis star Jennifer Capriati, US Women’s Soccer veteran Brandi Chastain, NBA alum Robert Horry, former Dodgers infielder Jeff Kent, X Games athlete Kristi Leskinen, the WNBA’s Lisa Leslie and skiier Bode Miller. In addition to Krupa, the celebrities are actor David Charvet, Maksim Chmerkovskiy of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” TV host/actor Dan Cortese, Paige Hemmis of another ABC show “Extreme Makeover:Home Edition,” singer Julio Iglesias, Jr. and model/actresses Ali Landry and Estella Warren (who used to be a competitive swimmer). New Hope’s Robert Horowitz, of Juma Entertainment, is one of the shows producers and is now on location in the Bahamas.
