When I asked if he would consider sparking up without it being legalized, I'd swear there was a brief smile before the senator said he was "certainly not about to say I would violate the law. Several years ago, early in his battle with cancer, Specter told me that he had considered introducing legislation supporting medical marijuana so I followed up yesterday as the Pennsylvania powerhouse addressed the Daily News Editorial Board on local, national and international affairs.
Specter's been bumping elbows with many more people lately. It's his new greeting as he can't shake hands for fear of germs while fighting cancer, of which he has completed eight of 12 rounds of chemotherapy.

Thank you Senator Specter (D-PA). May we quote you in support of the PA Compassionate Use Act of 2009 introduced on April 29, 2009?
a) why is the news b) potheads are losers
vhhn- why not compare Budweiser to heroin too! Weed is no different than alcohol. Id rather get burnt to a crisp then drunk anymore. Drinking brings out the worse in people all pot does is make ya lazy or hungry so instead of getting behind the wheel you lounge in front of the TV.
It's legal in my house!
Don't just think about supporting legalization legislation, DO IT!!!

Legalize it, and I'll advertise it.
go arlen...it this the coverup for when they bust you for smoking weed? I need it for my health also.

This is about the only thing I agree with Spector on. He's been a failure as a moderate Republican in keeping the Republican party under control. Now if he could legalize medical marijuana, I just might vote for him.

vhhn keeping the lie alive. If you're so concerned about marijuana leading to other drug use, I'm sure you are for making alcohol illegal. No drug impairs one's judgement than alcohol.
Dude, there is no way that pot will ever have any negative effect on anything that....ahhhhh, I'm sorry, I lost my train of thought, what was I saying?
There is already an organization that is gathering storm to legalize medical Cannabis in PA. See http://www.pa4mmj.org also Phillynorml.org for general local Cannabis reform efforts. Support the local groups. We will be sending letters to Specter and other representatives regarding the topic.

all weed should be legal. tax it and it'll be just like butts or alcohol. nobody kills people while high on pot.
