Scott Storch's big spending ways get the better of him

Scott Storch, the former Roots keyboardist and producer at Center City's Sigma Sound Studios, owes more than $500,000 in taxes on his $10.5 million home in Miami, reports the Miami Herald's Joan Fleischman. Storch, 34, who produced tracks for Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton and Beyonce, and who reportedly used to earn $90,000 per track he recorded, didn't let any of his cash burn a hole in his pocket, lavishing gifts such as a Bentley on former girlfriend Lil' Kim and jewelry for Lindsay Lohan. Now he's in arrears on child support for one son, leading to a bench warrant for his arrest, and he has been sued over the paternity of a 16-year-old boy whom the 34-year-old Storch may have fathered in his teens. Storch's attorney, Guy Spiegelman, told the Miami Herald his client "intends to honor all of his obligations. "He was a victim of mismanagement of his business enterprises, resulting in his current predicament," Spiegelman said.

A $10.5M home seems to be a bit much for a guy who didn't start making big money until the last few yrs. I don't know what the guy is earning, but you can't buy what you can't afford and what you can afford is not only based on your income but your spending habits. Storch needs to sit with MC Hammer to hear how well he managed his money.

Scottie has made some incredible beats, but he hasnt had the longevity to be spending 10.5 on one padd, thats just insane. But who am i to tell a grown man how to spend his hard earned money. As far as 90k a track....whatever. he probably got that once on the back end. Keep ya head up Scottie it'll get better
