Rosemary Connors promoted to weekend anchor at NBC10

I've exclusively learned that Rosemary Connors has been promoted to weekend anchor at NBC10, replacing Lori Wilson who left the station for her homestate of Indiana earlier this month. Word is she starts on Saturday.

Connors has been with the station since 2009, covering the 2012 presidential race and the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal. In addition to her duties at NBC, Connors is also a part time law student at Temple. She'll graduate May. Neal Zoren of the Delaware County Times named her the 2012 MVP.

Fun fact about Connors: The Penn graduate is the third generation of women in her family to report the news in Philly, including her mom, Mary Flannery, a Daily News alum. Her cousin is "The Office's" Kate Flannery, who will make her Philly stage debut next month.
