Phillies games will broadcast on 94WIP as well as 1210 AM this season, Glen Macnow and Anthony Gargano just announced on WIP. Both stations are owned by CBS Radio so the simulcast certainly makes sense.

The Daily News reported Nov. 23 that this would be happening. At the time, neither the Phillies nor CBS Radio would talk.

The deal starts this month with live coverage of the team's spring training camp from Clearwater, Fla.

While 1210 AM boasts a strong signal already, the FM signal on 94.1 may be a clearer way to hear Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen’s broadcasts.

We have only one person to thank for this. Mikey Misinelli. He dethroned old Leatherface and sent him packin'.He also got such great numbers that WIP finally had to go FM. This is great news. It sounds much better in FM.

Pelti--- they also have the 76ers so 94 wip has all 4 teams now; they use oldies 98 as a spillover with 1210 as well

You called a sports talk show and asked an Oscar question, and you are surprised you got hung up on?

I disagree that he has a limited sports knowledge, but there's a reason he started in newpapers. Who the hell would put that mush-mouth on radio and then have the balls to put that face on TV??? I'm tired of hearing his gumbas calling in all the time.

Don't know about Chicago, but NY sports talk is like listening to 1060AM.
