Syndicated sports talk show "The Nick and Artie Show," featuring Howard Stern sidekick Artie Lange and comedian Nick DiPaolo comes to SportsRadio 610WIP weekdays from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. starting Wednesday night.
The show will be heard on 610WIP, but not its FM signal at 94WIP. It may also be streamed online at NickandArtie.com.
Lange attemped suicide in Jan. 2010 and never returned to the Stern show where he had spent nine years. He was off radio until last summer when he and DiPaolo filled in for Tony Bruno on his Fox Sports Radio show. The Nick and Artie show launched in October and in December the show was picked up by Sirius XM Satellite Radio's Extreme Talk channel, the first time Lange was heard on Sirius since leaving Stern.
We would be remiss to not take this opportunity to shout-out the hilarious film "Dirty Work," in which Lange co-starred with Norm MacDonald.

- Wow, I'm surprised to see that many people are finally seeing what I saw, or should I say heard, in WIP years ago. I left WIP as soon as Sports Talk 950, now 97.5 the Fanatic went on the air in 2005. The hosts are old and stale on WIP. Every once in a while I try to listen to see if they changed and after about 5 minutes I am dialing back to 97.5. Still bad!!— rjw817

- No offense Ron Mexico but in my humble opinion those 2 guys shouldnt be within 50 miles of an on-air mic in a market as big as Philly.97.5 kind of butchered their oppurtunity to enter the market. They are pulling guys off the street and giving them on-air jobs in the 4th largest media market in the USA. No Way that can happen and the ratings verify that notion.

Someone should tell those guys that the football season ended a month ago. Mike Miss is Eskin lite. He hasn't let a person with an opposing opinion finish his thought since his first year back. - WIP now has the Phillies for 94.1 on the FM dial. The Phillies get very high radio ratings. For 610 wip, programmers decided to take a chance with 'Nick and Artie' because 1210 already carries the Phillies on the AM dial (a sister station on WIP).
