New NBC10 reporter Claudia Rivero is a surprise metalhead

Claudia Rivero just arrived at NBC 10 and quickly surprised colleagues with her love of metal. When we heard about it we thought that maybe her co-workers were exaggerating, until we spoke with Rivero and she said that she loved Iron Maiden, Dio and Judas Priest, and saw them all in concert with her brothers in Phoenix, where she was raised. Rivero says that she hopes to see Metallica on their next tour, that her tastes have expanded and that she also listens to Marc Anthony and everything in between. The Arizona State University grad last worked at two TV stations in the Phoenix area, and debuts tonight on NBC 10.
With her free time she should catch "Anvil! The Story of Anvil," at the Ritz at the Bourse. It's an excellent documentary about still-rocking and long-struggling Canadian metal band Anvil, who were on the cusp of stardom in the 1980s, but never made it big. Yet.
