As we told you last week, Mike Jerrick will be returning to Fox 29.
The station announced this morning that Jerrick will co-host "Good Day Philadelphia," (which he did from 1999-2002) with Sheinelle Jones from 7 to 9 a.m., while John Anderson will continue with Jones from 5 to 7 a.m. Jerrick, who most recently worked on "The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet," which Fox broadcast nationwide and recently canceled, will start this week, the station has said.
Also, on Monday, September 7, the show will be become five hours long, getting extended through 10 a.m. Currently, Fox 29 airs reruns of "Mike and Juliet" from 9 to 10. Jerrick and Juliet Huddy co-hosted the national show from January 2007 until last month.
"I have always found it more enjoyable to be at a local show, rather than a national show," Jerrick told us Monday morning. "There's more instant feedback and it's easier to connect with the audience." Jerrick will soon be looking for a place here. He hopes his girlfriend, an accountant he's been dating since October, will move from New York with him.

Dump Sheinelle Jones.— dpcoz- This new pairing of co-hosts should be interesting. John Anderson and Sheinelle Jones work very well together. I'm not so sure the chemistry will be there with Jones & Jerrick, who has a tendency to be a little "suggestive" in his remarks, than the wholesome pair of Jones/Anderson. - I find Jerrick very annoying in the morning along with Jenn F. The two of them seemed compelled to force being over the top. Their delivery grates my nerves and when there not reading their lines the facial experssions are very disturbing. Good Day has certainly changed for the worse since those two came back.
