Adult film sensation Mary Carey is not letting her loss in the 2003 California gubernatorial race dampen her political aspirations. Carey, who dances at the Oasis Gentlemen's Club (6800 Essington) through Saturday, has her sights set on the White House. "If Sarah Palin can do it, so can I," the buxom blonde told us yesterday. Of course Carey, 30, would have to wait until 2016 to meet the age requirement of 35.
Carey, who was seen on "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew," says she has reduced her drinking and now drinks only "beer and champagne," having cut out wine after she threw up following a meal of "half a flatbread pizza and eight glasses of wine."
While Carey is retired from hardcore porn, she still models nude on her website ClubMaryCarey.com and hopes to return to town in February for 610 WIP's Wing Bowl, where she had a great time last year. "I love Wing Bowl. I don't think it would work in any other state that there would be thousands of drunk people at 6 a.m. watching people eat chicken wings," Carey said yesterday.
Carey, a huge fan of Philadelphia, likes the abundance of pierogies that she finds in town and also plans to take in the Sixers/Lakers game Friday and the Flyers game Saturday afternoon. The last time Carey and the Sixers were mentioned together was when she revealed to us that former Sixer Jason Smith was the mystery baller she made out with at a New York club after a New York Post report that didn't identify the player. She won't be seducing any Sixers tomorrow as she will attend the game with her husband of more than a year, Mario Monge.
