Lawyer from crazy Super Bowl commercial is from Bristol

Because, of course he was.

Lawyer from crazy Super Bowl commercial is from Bristol

The creator of the most epic Super Bowl ads ever is from Bristol.

Too bad you didn’t get to see it. Unless you were one of the thousands who watched it online when the ad went viral.

Savannah, Georgia attorney Jamie Casino unleashed the action movie-style ad on his local affiliate during Sunday’s Super Bowl. The ad featured Casino in a revenge narrative as he tells the story of his little brother Michael’s murder on Labor Day 2012, prompting Casino to switch from a criminal defense attorney to a personal injury lawyer and advocate for his brother’s murder. The ad, written and directed by Casino, calls out Savannah's Chief of Police, Willie Lovett, and features explosions, pounding guitars and Casino smashing a grave, emblazoned with Lovett’s image, with a sledgehammer

The YouTube description for the ad says Casino “created the ad to set the record straight in the Biggest Game of the Year, Super Bowl XLVIII.”

Casino, or Jamie Biancosino, is a Bristol native, whose father, Joe Biancosino-Downey, is the former mayor of Tullytown. Casino graduated from Temple University before heading to Florida for law school, and later Savannah to set up his practice. The bio on his website, luckylegal.com, discusses his blue collar roots, saying “he took a blue collar, hard working ethic to his law practice and quickly became known as an aggressive lawyer willing to fight vehemently for those who could not fight for themselves.”

The ad was featured on Buzzfeed, Deadspin, the Huffington Post and other outlets.

Casino's office told me they were getting a ton of calls from the media today. I e-mailed Casino for comment and haven't heard back yet.
