Kidd Chris is hinting at a possible radio return on his website, which features an animated version of the former 94 WYSP host hung on a cross. Along with the cartoon is the definition of the word "resurrection" and the statement "Keep watching," signed by the jock who still has not spoken publicly about his May 16 firing from 'YSP. As we reported exclusively he was fired over repeated airings of a racist song, "Schwoogies," sung to the tune of Blondie's "Call Me," which his guest Lady Gash performed in studio in March.

Kidd Chris is a talentless hack. Please stop talking about him; honestly this guy needs to go away. I'm certain he is too stupid to understand his own controversy. If anyone local or foreign hires him to do anything in the public eye, well I guess they would be even more stupid.

Chris, I hope this served as a wakeup call. Lay off the racist stuff, you don't need it. You are a funny guy and have quality talent in Thomas, Nog, Levy, Brad, Connie. The other guys suck, especially that Cheeseburger and your racist callers from the Northeast. You have a younger audience; are you sure you want them to infiltrate their minds with racist garbage? Let them go through like with no prejudices, and make them come to their own conclusions.

I really couldn't care less. I haven't listened to old fashioned radio in years. Satellite radio is so much better.

Agreed, he's a talentless hack. The next station that hires him will surely kick him off also, as soon as they realize it.

I hope he does come back. Maybe he can do remote mignight traffic reports from North Philly. Maybe then he and his Prog Dir will really learn about "Schwoogies". Stupid song, stupid comic, stupid jock.

Haha you people are too much - you've spent the valuable time to register, read this article AND post just to say Kidd Chris is talentless!! He's got more 'talent' in his left nut than you ambulance-chasing losers!!

I was forced to listen to Preston and Steve this morning under circumstances I'd rather not share due to the trauma of the whole event. They played an italian version of the Fresh prince of Bel Air theme song no less than six or seven times in a row, pausing and rewinding and laughing hysterically to what was easily the most unfunny, annoying piece of "comedy" I've ever heard. I think they might very well be developmentally disabled adults, but you know, not the funny kind, the really sad, make you want to donate somewhere kind. I understand that many people are not into the type of show that Kidd Chris has/had, but that's why you have that team of glue sniffers at MMR. Realize that most of the CBS brass who publicly denounce Chris' show and the specific song, DEFINITELY sh*t on minorities behind closed doors (you're blind if you think otherwise, corporate America is the most racist institution on the planet) and are hypocrites that only care about advertising dollars and not content. There are plenty of us out here who are not racist jagoffs, but aren't so brainwashed by PC nonsense that we can laugh at a show that "crosses the line" a lot, in spite of the fact that such extraordinary talent scouts suchs as "pagoda" and "SueBoo" deem such a show to be devoid of talent. If Chris ends up on Sirius, it'll be the best 13 bucks I'll spend each month. That's word to Joe Frazier.

He does have ties to Stern so there may be truth to the rumor that he will be offered a show on one of Stern's channels I would think it would be on Howard 101. If he does go to satellite he won't have to worry about being censored.

He didn't do anything different to another race that another race has already and continues to do to white people. He'll bounce right back. Imus did much worse and after a period to calm people down, he's back on track.

That will be great if he goes to Sirius he will be a perfect fit. They need to fill the void when Stern is on Vacation for 10 weeks of the year not to mention every Friday when they have off.

like most people, no one wants to check the facts - it was NOT his song or him singing it; his whole show makes fun of everyone which is why his audience and guest list is also a diverse crowd.....most of you have never heard it before, just heard that 'this radio guy made up a racist song about blacks' and now you're flying in and pooping on him like a bunch of seagulls - typical

It makes sense that he would be going to Sirius.....his firing was mentioned by the Howard 100 news after it happened, but Stern never addressed it during his show (maybe I missed it).... He will be a great addition to the Howard 100 team

His show was tailor made for satellite radio anyway. Anybody with half a brain would know that this was the best thing that ever happened to him. His type of humor is made for people that like paying money for something that you can get for free just so that they can hear racist songs and frat boy humor. You can have him!

i think only white people were offended by the song. it was funny. and, listen up morons, kidd chris didnt sing it. he didnt know any of the lyrics before it was sung by someone that didnt work there. if it was really that bad it would have been bleeped. it was played for 2 months with no complaints. there are plenty of black people that listen to the show and like it and werent offended. Is it any worse than 100.3 doing "white news" in the morning? what about steve harvey doing "red neck news"? ever listen to 98.9 in the morning? that's something you idiots should be offended about.

No one on this post claimed that Chris said it, however, he allowed it to air ON THE KID CHRIS show on more than one occassion. He and the PD are just as reponsible as the stupid lady who sang it. If they allowed someone to drop F-bombs and use the N-word live on the air, they would have been fined and most likely fired. This is no different. As a responsible DJ, he should have used better judgement.

If you dont like KIDD CHRIS your not american. There is only one difference between him and the the other DJS on the radio hes better!!!!! This country is based on controversy and he has plenty of it. Not only should he be back on the radio but they should name the station after him and give him and the rest of the show a raise. He made YSP good to listen to. Im so sick and tired off hearing the same music played on every station all day long. He made the radio worth listening to. And if you don't like him take the stick out of your A$$!!!!! The only way to know you dont like is radio show is to listen, SO THANKS FOR LISTENING!!!!!!

Kidd Chris is the best radio show in the city. If you don't like, change the channel! He does nothing but entertain from start to finish. CBS will realize that once the next round of sweeps comes out.

Fuuny thing happen the other day when I stopped on a radio station I did not like...I CHANGED THE CHANNEL. If you don't like Kidd Chris, don't listen, tune to a station you do like. Why does everyone on what to inflict his or her own views on everyone else? Change the channel and don't worry about what I am listening too. I am an adult and I make my own decisions, I don't need someone else to make that decision for me. I certainly don't need to the gov't to decide for me. This attitude that of "I don't like it, so it should not be on the air", needs to change, so much for free speech.

Great job caller9, very intellectual come back. With a little work, soon you'll be all the way up to mom jokes. Here's a great idea for you...grab your crayon and try to write something topical with a small amount of intelligence, or don't they teach you that kind of stuff during recess? Apparently only Baron and a few others actually get it on here.

The fact he referenced Delicious Vinyl makes me believe that really was Danny Ozark that commented. Moving on, "FrankieDaFace", it's not about "getting it", clearly you and some have an opinion, and others here have different opinions about the show. If you don't like it, it's really much, much easier to not give a f*ck than it is to argue with people who aren't going to think "hey, that frankie guy is right, I just changed my mind!" It's not gonna happen. You have your opinion, we have ours and obviously you can express it, but expect that someone might have something to say about it. Then, if you're going to base your own comeback to someone on the fact that theirs wasn't topical, not being topical yourself makes you a hypocrite. If you think we're idiots that's fine, but why would you want to argue with fools? Makes yourself look like one too dude....

Reggie, what I mean by "getting it" is having an opinion, one way or another, and debating like someone who attended 3rd grade one time and graduated, unlike our pal caller9, who can't seem to put together a compehensible sentence. Changing peoples minds? Most people have no minds, not much to work with there, but let's clarify something first. Nowhere did I comment about hating kid chris, his show or his listeners, in fact, I support his First Amendemnt rights to broadcast. However, letting that song air live on his show without knowledge of it's content was reckless and irresponsible. Bubba, the guy on Sirius, got canned in Tampa for having a pig roast in the parking and playing a squeal sound effect in the background. Was it funny? Sort of. Was it good taste? Not exactly. Was it legal? Absolutely. Chris is in the same situation, except that I personally think he made a bigger mistake than Bubba in that he gave some wacked out, wanna be comic an open mic. You obviously support kid and his show, lots of people do, but people shouldn't throw half-witted, ignorant, and unintelligable comments at you about it ESPECIALLY if they don't contain a legible and relevant counter-arguement. Bring something worth reading to the table. There are plenty of other places to spew one's ineptitude.

What's sad is NOBODY COMPLAINED. CBS is guilty of retroactive prior restraint, self-censorship. Kidd was the only thing bringing in ratings and they couldn't slit his throat and bury him fast enough. In six months YSP will be a top 40 or rap station and Preston & Steve's fake edginess will reign unchallenged. Good job CBS.
