Kanye's new South Philly girl

Kanye West's new shaved-headed girlfriend Amber Rose, a model and music video actress, is a South Philadelphia native. Rose, 25, tells Smooth magazine she is "half-Italian and half Cape Verdean," and that she was routinely "antagonized" by kids at school over her mixed race. Her interview, posted here, accompanies a sexy photo spread that runs in the current issue of Smooth, available on newsstands now. Rose, who has been photographed a lot recently with West, may have also worked as a stripper at Delilah's (100 Spring Garden) as several gossip and music blogs have reported. The club says all its dancers are independent contractors and it does not divulge information about them.
