Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins will be one of ten Major League Baseball players to read the “Top Ten Reasons to Watch the World Baseball Classic,” on Thursday night’s episode of CBS’ “Late Night with David Letterman.” Rollins will appear via satellite from Florida. The other Team USA players taking part in the Top Ten List are: Derek Jeter of the Yankees, David Wright of the Mets, the Braves’ Chipper Jones, Ryan Braun from the Brewers, Red Sox Dustin Pedroia and Kevin Youkilis, Curtis Granderson from the Tigers, Roy Oswalt from the Astros and Adam Dunn from the Nationals. The World Baseball Classic, which will be played around the world, begins Thursday.
