Jay-Z, Diddy, Mary J. Blige to speak at Monday Obama rally on North Broad

Jay-Z, Diddy and Mary J. Blige will be guest speakers at a Promote the Vote Block Party rally for Barack Obama at 10:30 a.m. Monday on North Broad Street between Dauphin and Susquehanna. The event is free, more info here.

These posts are sad, if you don't want to vote for a particular candidate then don't. Is the racism necessary? Maybe its good that the hatred is coming out...maybe venting alone, in your mother's basement will provide relief.

ClarkU - Diddo. The Obama haters are just mad cause Magoo and Bullwinkle are going to lose and had no real message from the start. Rumormill - you sound bitter, what's the matter? The reason why these celebrities are getting involved is because some young voters are still impressionable and need a reminder to stand in these loooong lines no matter what. Many minorities have lost their lives and suffered to give them and women the right to vote!

Is having the support of the hip hop community a good thing? Really? I'm sure race has nothing to do with their vote, why is that anyone who is not voting for Obama is viewed as racist?

I would love to address all of the ignorantly disgusting racist dogs that have so much to say about "us". It is fine for you to have your opinion, but why down someone elses? Why shouldn't we be happy for one of our own? That is right "our own" an ounce of it means it is. Just shut up and vote for old Mccain and ugly Sarah Palin. It will not matter anyway- so good luck with that. I mean why are yall so still so angry? No matter what pink cheeks will still always have the upperhand, unfortunately. So relax.
