Harold and Kumar's Kal Penn now teaching at Penn

While his character could teach blunt-rolling or skirt-chasing, "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle" star Kal Penn has just started lecturing his Asian Americans in the Media course in Penn's Asian American Studies Department. Penn, who also starred in "The Namesake," and will be seen in the upcoming "Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay," tells the Daily Pennsylvanian, he'll show some of his films in class and plans to have comedienne Margaret Cho come in as a guest speaker. Penn, who was born Kalpen Modi, and raised in Montclair, NJ, has lectured at colleges nationwide in the past several years. It was the Daily News that last March broke the news of Penn's Penn plans.
