Eagles running back Tony Hunt has asked to be entered into an Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program for nonviolent first-time offenders stemming from his July 13 arrest for drunken driving. Hunt was stopped in a parking lot of Ruby Tuesday (9000 Bartram Ave.) near the airport where his blood alcohol level was tested at 0.184, nearly twice the legal limit 0.10. After his arrest, Hunt, 22, was charged with a DUI and released on his own recognizance.

Last week, his attorney, Guy Sciolla, asked the court to allow Hunt to enter the ARD probationary program, and Hunt must be in court next May 19 to find out whether he was accepted into ARD. Sciolla told the People Paper's Julie Shaw that Hunt's ARD program is expected to include probation and safe-driving classes.

"As long as he completes it successfully, any evidence of his contact with the justice system will be erased," Sciolla said. When we asked yesterday about Hunt's first-degree misdemeanor charge, Eagles spokesman Derek Boyko, said, "We are aware of it and we have no further comment on a court matter."

UPDATE: .08., not .10, is the legal limit on blood alcohol content, so Hunt blew more than twice that limit with a .184.

The only reason why this story was printed was because Dan got the name Boyko confused with Boy Co., the number one party planning/production company on the East Coast that supplies clubs like Pure with all of its naughty male dancers for its events.

I'm sure Joe Pa gave him an earful after he heard about the arrest. Thankfully for Hunt, you can't understand a word that man says. Legend? Yes. Cunning Linguist? Not so much.

Well Patrick M. You have as many Zimas and Pina Coladas as our dear friend Daniel here and it's easy to blow past that .08. He's just so accustom to .10. "Woo PARTY! Oh, I'm so sassy."

Skrelnick. That tends to make Casual Friday even more awkward in the Daily News offices.

I can't believe Chubbs is writing about a running back. I thought he was more into tight ends and wide receivers.
