DeVito says "Sunny" will shoot here later than usual

"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" star Danny DeVito says that the FX series is doing things a little differently this year. "Usually we shoot the exteriors in Philly first, but now we're going to do it last," DeVito said of the show's tapings, which start in May. The pint-size actor was here over the weekend signing bottles of his limoncello at the Philadelphia Flower Show, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

DeVito told us that "the 'Sunny' guys were jealous that they couldn't come in, but they're busy writing," DeVito says of South Philly native Rob McElhenney, the show's creator, and their co-stars. DeVito, who has three children with wife Rhea Perlman, says that he's "looking forward to hearing the pitter-patter of little feet on our stage," about McElhenney and co-star/wife Kaitlin Olson, whose wedding DeVito and Perlman attended last year.

DeVito and a pal lunched Friday at Ralph's (760 S. 9th) after it was recommended by 93.3 WMMR's Preston Elliot, Steve Morrison and Kathy Romano during an interview on Preston & Steve that morning. DeVito was ultra-friendly to fans and went for spaghetti with meatballs, sausage and broccoli rabe, peppers and egg. DeVito also left a generous tip.
