Danny Bonaduce starts Monday on WYSP

It's official, Danny Bonaduce is the new morning man at 94 WYSP, starting Monday. The station's website announced the info today. The Broomall-born former "Partridge Family" actor, who worked at Eagle 106 in the 90's told us recently he'd love nothing more than to return to Philly radio. While he has two children living in California, Bonaduce said he would move to Philadelphia to host out of 'YSP studios if he were going to be working there. Bonaduce is also scheduled to fight Jose Canseco in Jan. 17 in the area at a location to be determined. The red-headed radio host could not immediately be reached this afternoon for comment. If he calls us back we'll keep you posted.

UPDATE: Bonaduce said last night he was thrilled to return to his hometown. "You don't get more Philly than me," he said. Bonaduce arrives tomorrow morning and will still broadcast his hourlong afternoon show on 97.1 FM in Los Angeles from 'YSP studios. "Bad things happen when I have too much free time," says Bonaduce about why he loves to stay busy.
