Rumor has it that CBS 3 management was none too pleased with some on-air talent attending a Saturday-night party at the Borgata in Atlantic City that Alycia Lane organized as a surprise for her boyfriend, Q102's Chris Booker, to celebrate his 37th birthday. Management, of course, is embroiled in a lawsuit with Lane, who has sued the station for alleged wrongful termination, and is seeking unspecified damages. Among staffers at the party were traffic anchor Bob Kelly, reporter Todd Quinones and meteorologist Doug Kammerer. We're told that station management talked only with Kammerer, mostly for appearing in pictures on Q102's website in which he was holding drinks. While several pictures of Kammerer remain on the site, at least one was removed this morning. Kammerer did not return calls for comment yesterday and a station spokeswoman declined comment. CBS 3 fired Lane in January, several weeks after she was arrested in New York for allegedly assaulting an NYPD officer. Her assault charge was reduced and her case is in a prolonged period of dismissal called an ACD.

Looks like Bob Kelly (yellow shirt) ran into a "jammo" in picture 26 on Q102 photo album.

Enough with Lane! As for Kelly, Quinones and Kammerer, face it, together or apart they're a stupid lot.

I can't believe a TV station would dictate to its employees who they can socialize with during off-work hours. Also, in the picture of Alycia in the Daily News where her face is shown from the side, is it just me or does she bear an eerie resemblance to Gov. Spitzer's "Kristen"?

I can believe the only reason this is in the news is that they need to add more negative insight to their boring lives. I have an Idea, how about getting some positive news out to this negative city and let the attitudes of positive people shine.

Is Alycia Lane really all that attractive anyway? I never saw what the big deal was about her. Now, Cecily Tynan on the other hand....:) :) :) But I agree with Sweatheart and Jill...she's old news and no-one cares anymore. She's gone and she won't ever work in this market again.

Yes, Alicia Lane is a crazy beyotch.... Yes, she's kind a trick.... Yes she's a manipulator.... All that being said, why in the world would CBS 3 have a problem with their employees hanging out with friends on their own time---regardless of who their friends are??? That would be all I'd need to start sending out tapes to other affiliates in this or any other market... What a joke!!! Maybe they should be more concerned about their ratings which are in the toilet...

Take a minute on this one: Alycia Lane is in legal cahoots with CBS3, and invites some of their employees to Chris Booker's high profile birthday party. Maybe Lane should have not invited them, to shield them?

Are they freaking serious? Can a job really control someones personal life? Maybe its best that Alycia is no longer employed by CBS3. who wants to work for controlling company like that anyway. Must be a slow news day to be having a scenario such as this being reported. Happy early Birthday Booker. Love ya! TheBookerShowOnline.com

Is alycia lane or booker really important? They aren't even worth the ink to print the story. Too bad "JOURNALIST" people who report on important issues can't find anything else to do.

This really shouldn't be an issue, CBS3. Alycia is old news. She's too busy these days thinking about who to beat up next! Focus more on real news coverage please so we can protect our children. They are more important then this rubbish.

ArseoleChris, you're comparing a stand in for some movie vs. news talent [sic]. There is a difference in that the news industry, especially if you're on TV, pays a bit more than being a stand in. Your example blows, dude. Gimme a good lunch idea and I will forgive you. Thanks.

I always ask my subjects to put down their drinks. It's for their own good, because if they get a DUI somewhere down the line, I get richer. I shot Doug at the G Lounge and he refused to put down his drink. See the 12/7/07 entry on my blog; In case you don't know him, he's the only one with the drink in his hand.

CBS 3 is being sooo ridiculous. They get to say who their employees can be friends with now? doesn't this violate a law or amendment or the constitution or something? They need to get a grip!

Under a ruling by the Bush administration Dept. of Labor, management can decide who you can associate with outside of working hours. Being photographed holding a drink can also lose you your job, though case is still pending on that.

By the way, with my first comment on the situation, I didn't mean any disrespect to the fallen officer from this weekend or any other, I was just saying that Lane's friends don't have to abandon her because of her bad taste in judgement that one night. Worse things have and are continuing to happen.

Working in The Enetertainment Industry is a double edged sword and You really have to pick your spots because management types in this industry are vindictive and ruthless and any deviation from their plan or do something they deem wrong and it's F-U to you, bye bye paycheck. CASE IN POINT. Know a Guy who was working as a stand-in for the film "Happy Tears" that is filming here, guy quits his day job in order to make himself available for entire shoot, ONLY... To be sacked 7 days into the shoot with NO EXPLANATION AS TO WHY!!!!! I know this man well and he is a total professional, No Autographs or Photos with the stars for this guy, He does not get starstruck or have time to hob-nob, Do The Work and Roll.... Take The Money And Run........ Good Luck and Perserverance The Arseole:)

this is silly. I don't believe this would violate any moral clauses in their contracts. And it's not like Alycia was trying to be in the news just because she threw a party for her boyfriend. CBS 3 is wrong for even getting involved in this affair.

This is the biggest bunch of bull**** that channel 3 could come up with. She's giving a party for her boyfriend and the people she invited are her friends. Are her friends suppose to forsake her because channel 3 has issues with her?

Control! Why can't on-air talent support a friend? Does working for CBS 3 mean that they control every aspect of your life. They are in a suit with Lane not these folks that supported a friend at a party. This is silly!
