Butch Patrick is out of rehab

Good luck to Butch Patrick, who played Eddie Munster on "The Munsters," who checked himself out of a South Jersey rehab facility on Monday.

Patrick, 57, told us he entered a five-day detox program at Maryville in Williamstown because he was "drinking way more than I should have been."

Monday night, Patrick and friend Robert Minto, a DJ, discussed a business opportunity with several women at Mad River (126 Chestnut) Buffalo Billiards (118 Chestnut) and Crocodile's (110 Chestnut) in Old City where Patrick says he drank only Cokes.

Patrick moved to West Chester over the summer to be with a woman with whom he has since broken up. The actor says he's not sure where he'll be living from now on though he has several friends who have offered him lodging in the U.S. and abroad.

While he says it was alcohol that drove him to rehab, Patrick told us yesterday that as recently as June, he had been freebasing cocaine but that he hasn't used cocaine since June 13. "I had an issue in Los Angeles, that's one of the reasons I wanted to leave," Patrick says of his decision to move to the Philadelphia area.

Patrick will appear at 94 WYSP's Rock Expo from noon to 2 p.m. Nov. 27 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks to sign autographs and will donate money he makes to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
