Brokaw to keynote Chamber of Commerce annual meeting
Veteran newsman Tom Brokaw will be the keynote speaker at the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce's 208th Annual Meeting Oct. 22 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Brokaw, now interim moderator of "Meet The Press,"and NBC Special News Correspondent, will discuss the upcoming election, global economy and his new book “Boom! Voices of the Sixties: Personal Reflections on the '60s and Today," with the crowd of up to 1,500.
I wonder if Larry informed Dan about this ever-so-riveting breaking news story....
Why would you post this? I am sure he is collecting upwards of $75,000 to $100,000 to give this talk. Its not like Brokaw felt the need to come to Philly and give this presentation. Its not news, its a professional speaking gig.
Dan, Brokaw is with NBC, not CBS.
got the book, not too good, save your money
How will he get that EGO through the door. Another loser.

@SteakWith: Actually, the Chamber was able to secure Tom Brokaw through the Free Library, so this isn't one of his normal paid events.
bro-kaw is Algonquin for "mouth of marbles"

lllthis just in. Thull thruway is closed, man.
Dan, sorry to see that all you have to pass off as "gossip" is a press release from the Chamber of Commerce. Come clean on your felonious relationship with Larry Mendacious and recover some of the trust you so casually threw away.
How Brokaw ever got as far as he did is beyond me. He STILL can't pronounce the letter "l". I could never see why NBC wanted him as an anchor when he was so to understand sometimes.
Brokaw is in the keynote business. He just did a keynote for the SAP conference in Orlando in May. Key noting is nice income and he is one of the top touring key noters right now. Headline should read, "If you pay enough money, Brokaw will even speak at your bake sale."
