Booker, or a friend, plants Page Six item he's leaving Philly for New York

Chris Booker called into Howard Stern's Sirius Satellite Radio show last week and said he had more than a year left on his contract with Q102. But the New York Post's Page Six is reporting that Booker, "may be headed back to New York, with girlfriend, fired Philadelphia news anchor Alycia Lane in tow." The Post quotes "industry sources" that Booker is mulling "two lucrative radio deals and a major TV gig" in New York and that he's very serious about Lane.

While we're sure Lane will find a job no matter the outcome of her April 3 hearing in New York on a charge that she assaulted a female NYPD cop, we're not so sure that she'll find work in a larger market like New York.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia Will Do is reporting, a little too excitedly, that Booker and Lane made out while catching No Code, a Pearl Jam cover band, at the Grape Street (4100 Main) in Manayunk over the weekend.

booker on vh1 and lane on like the insider or something. fluff for the beautiful people! Still think she should just go for the gusto on hustler or swank.

They'll only get work on fluff shows...but damn you know Alycia is latching on to him for dear life now. And someone in his circle totally planted that...they have something against Philly now that they both got played for being fools.
