Bookbinder's seeking public help, sign says

Old Original Bookbinder's (125 Walnut) is seeking the public's help, or so it seems from a sign posted on the front of the seafood house, which opened in 1865 and is now struggling in bankruptcy. We reported last week that the restaurant had abruptly closed and fired many employees. "We are closed for the month of April. If you are interested in helping bring back Bookbinders please contact us at bringbackbookies@gmail.com," the sign says. "Any general questions please refer to our general email Bookbinders125walnut@gmail.com," continues the note, which ends with "Sorry for the inconvenience. We hope to be back soon!"
