Bam Margera beaten with a baseball bat outside his West Chester bar

Chester County "Jackass" Bam Margera was at home and resting by Saturday night, his mother April tells friends, following an attack in which Margera, 30, was hit in the head with a baseball bat around the corner from his club The Note (142 E. Market) in West Chester. West Chester Police told us that Elizabeth Ray, 59, who lives on S. Matlack Street where the incident occured, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. No word on what led to the attack, which happened around 2 a.m. Saturday and was first reported by TMZ. Ray had a preliminary hearing Saturday afternoon the results of which police were unable to reveal Sunday morning. A message left Sunday at a published phone number for Ray was not immediately returned. Margera's publicist and attorney did not return requests for comment.

The night before the attack Margera and "Jackass" cohort Ryan Dunn were at the 7th anniversary party at Kildare's (18 W. Gay) in West Chester where Dunn joined bar owner Dave Magrogan to sing Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues" with the Juliano Brothers.
