Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Raheem Brock is behind on child support by more than $7,500, ex-wife Deziree Williams said. Brock and Williams wed in June 2002 and divorced in October 2005. Their daughter was born in July 2003 after the couple had separated. A child-support payment plan signed in a Philly court in April 2007 holds that Brock, who made $3,120,480 with the Colts last year, is to pay $3,500 per month for child support.
Williams, 30, a computer teacher at area private schools, says Brock, 31, is behind more than $4,000 from the past eight months and withheld his July payment because she would not allow him to see the child. Williams admits that she has kept Brock from seeing his daughter for a month, telling him that he needs to pay up first. Williams says she has asked Brock repeatedly for the money and that he has avoided her, and more recently said that their lawyers could work it out. The couple met at Temple and dated throughout college, marrying the first year the Dobbins High grad played for the Colts.
From July 2007 to Oct. 2008 Brock was to pay $3,000, witholding $500 per month to cover a loan he had previously made to Williams. As of Nov. 2008, his payments should have been back to $3,500, but he has paid only $3,000 monthly, according to Williams' bank records.
Brock, who has three other children by two other women, did not return a message we left on his cell phone yesterday.

So she didn't let him see their child for a month after he had not stuck to his agreement fully for over 7mos. So he he then decides to retaliate and not send any money? Am I reading right? It's ashame the child's going to be the one affected by this. If he's a millionaire why didn't he just pay that lil bit of money?

that's still a lot of money....$3,000 a month is more than enough (even though he's a millionaire)....I thought it was about the child's welfare. I'm sure this little girl will be fed off $3,000 a month. I could see if he's not paying anything but he is only guilty of reducing his monthly payment by $500 a month...sheesh
Rather it is $500 or $100/month that she is due, a court agreement is a legal document, regardless. Being as though it was a mere $500 he was reducing his payments by, he should've just paid it and saved himself this very unneccessary drama.

See, here is all you need to know kiddies......and I struggle with this, but.....folks from particular swim clubs in the area read articles like this, focus specifically on the 3 women, 4 kids mathematics, get scared, then draw parallel's with this story when the complexion changes at their Swim Club. THAT is all you need to know when it comes to "why did that happen at the swim club". Again, I struggle with this on an everyday basis. Case in point: I sympathize with the Group trying to spend the day at the Swim Club, but reading about Raheem *ock, I mean Brock, I go back to the old mindstate. I will never figure myself out.

he's lucky he's only paying 3500/month on a 3+ mill annual salary. if he's smart he'll pay up before she gets even more vindictive (you should never keep a child from seeing their father barring safety issues) and asks for an increase.

Had Raheem not loaned your parents/you $13,000 to avoid their home being foreclosed, there never would have been an issue of when your child support payments should increase to $3500 per month. Maybe had you been helping your parents when you were first receiving child support, since you were living with them at 28 years old, none of this would even be an issue. How easily you forget, when someone helped you out.

an agreed amount of payment was already court appointed... he shouldn't have made his bed, now he has to lie in it. i'm glad she did speak up and vent... everyone thinks that this man is some hero and here he isn't even taking care of the children that he helped to make and you all forget that he makes all that money and only a small portion of that goes to the mothers that are REALLY taking CARE of their children.... he doesn't always have the time, but you think that he does have the MONEY... Raheem, how about setting an example of what a man should be to all those little women you fathered?
