Awesome Fest opens Thursday's 'Karate Kid' screening to the public

Want to see the Karate Kid with Ralph Macchio on Thursday?

In today's column, I interviewed "The Karate Kid" himself, Ralph Macchio, to discuss the 30th anniversary screening of his iconic '80s flick. Originally, the Thursday screening and Q&A were only open to Wizard World attendees.

But the Awesome Fest just announced that the screening is now open to the public. Just head to the Pennyslvania Convention Center and use the entrance at 13th & Arch. A Wizard World guide will direct you to room 108. The show starts at 5:30 p.m.

The movie will be followed by a Q&A with Macchio and Cobra Kai sensei Martin Kove. Just try not to claim your baby could have been Macchio's, k?
