Arthur Kade in fashion show Thursday

Local matchmaker Steve Ward, of VH1's "Tough Love," hosts Fashion in Public to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia at 7 p.m. Thursday at Public House (18th & Cherry). CBS 3 meteorologist Doug Kammerer, Sixers dancer Kate Beaver and Angela Perfetto, the cover model on 93.3 WMMR's Preston & Steve's Totally Office Calendar, are among models. It's free but donations to Ronald McDonald House are strongly encouraged.

Also modeling Thursday is Arthur Kade, who picks up new readers and haters daily on his blog where he chronicles sexual conquests and details his pursuit of fame and celebrity called The Journey. Kade's shtick has convinced some that it's all a gag, that nobody could go be as self-absorbed about how gorgeous and awesome he is, but he is for real.

Kade, who once appeared on "Gossip Girl," and was recently profiled by Philadelphia magazine,  is butchered more in the comments on his blog than even we are here on PhillyGossip.

That's not a challenge, La GROSSa Nostra, just a fact.
