Germantown Academy grad Bradley Cooper and Abbie Cornish take over Sampan (124 S. 13th) Friday, filming what we hear is the new ending for "Limitless."
The film, also starring Robert De Niro, was called "The Dark Fields" while shooting here last spring. A movie spokeswoman did not reply to questions about the nature of the Sampan scene or whether there are more reshoots in town for the thriller, scheduled to open March 18.
While it's the first movie shoot at chef Michael Schulson's Sampan, the restaurant regularly hosts movie dialogue. Its bathrooms play soundbites from "GoodFellas," "Pulp Fiction," "Napoleon Dynamite" and other of Schulson's favorite films.
