Actress Jane Seymour stayed at the Loews Philadelphia last night before an appearance on NBC10’s “10!” show this morning. She's off to Stone Harbor where her artwork displays all weekend at Ocean Galleries (96th & 3rd).
Bruce Willis had an omelet at the counter at Little Pete's (219 S. 17th) around 11:30 this morning. The actor was accompanied by a woman believed to be his wife Emma Heming, though our spy wasn't sure, and was approached by a customer in the diner who asked if he was Willis. He replied yes. Moments ago, a woman who answered the phone at Little Pete's declined to confirm Willis' visit, citing that the restaurant respects the privacy of its customers. UPDATE: The Little Pete's staffer just called us back to apologize for misleading us earlier and confirmed Willis was there.
UPDATE: We hear Willis is expected tonight in the Diamond Club at Citizens Bank Park where the Phillies take on the Giants.
Here's Paul Rudd on the set of the annoyingly-untitled James L. Brooks comedy which shot Tuesday in an apartment at 1913 Green St. Photographer HughE Dillon of PhillyChitChat.com said Rudd, as usual was gracious to fans and photographers but asked that if anyone had taken pictures of his young son, that they please not publish them. For the next few days the production is expected at the Phoenix (16th & Arch) where Owen Wilson's character lives.
Tucker Max is a jerk. In fact, he calls himself worse on his Web site.
The blogger-turned-author-turned screenwriter was at the Bridge (40th & Walnut) Tuesday for a preview screening of "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell," based on his book about being a hard-partying, womanizing jerk. The film opens Sept. 25. Max says he has a few sequels planned if it's successful, but he promises that none of them will take the Hollywood cliché route of his tiring of scoring chicks and wanting to settle down.
Max, who lives in Los Angeles, dismisses a recent college feminist protest against his film at North Carolina State as "a couple of kooks." "The whole idea that I'm anti-woman is crazy. At least half my fans are women. As a general group, women are as smart, if not smarter than, men. I've sold a million books, probably half to women."
Not in attendance Tuesday night was Anthony DiMeo III. The litigious local blueberry heir sued Max over message-board postings made by Max's readers at TuckerMax.com.
The comments came after DiMeo's firm Renamity promoted a New Year's party in 2006 at which alcohol quickly ran out and partygoers demanded refunds. The case was dismissed and an appellate court upheld that decision.
"That thing became kind of a big deal. The judge wrote such a lucid, well-formed opinion and it did open up the doors for how a lot of other Web sites have used the DMCA [Digital Millennium Copyright Act] to cover message-board postings," says Max, who graduated from Duke Law School but never took the bar exam.
He's constantly asked for advice on picking up girls. "My advice is always the same. There's no magic to hooking up. You need to be cool, which means a foundation of confidence with yourself. Figure out who you are," he says.
NBC 10 anchor/reporter Tracy Davidson and her husband, David Tinsch, a videographer/producer, have separated, sources tell us, and the couple have placed their Ardmore home on the market for $1.1 million. "My husband and I have been together for more than 20 years," Davidson told us Monday. "We have always kept our lives private and will continue to do so," she wrote in an e-mail. Tinsch did not return a request for comment.
The couple's dog, Charlie, a goldendoodle, was recently featured in the Daily News and with Davidson in a video on Philly.com. He has mega-esophagus, which makes it difficult to digest food unless he eats sitting up. The couple built a wooden box in which Charlie sits while eating. In an essay that Davidson wrote for our "Hurtin' Pup" contest, she told us that she cooks about 300 meatballs per week for the pooch.
Tarsha "Jonesy" Jones is hosting mornings all week on Power 99 in what radio insiders say may likely become a permanent gig. The station, which boasts "Bangin' Hip Hop and R&B," has been searching for a morning show since early July, when it canceled the syndicated Big Boy's Neighborhood show. Jonesy, who formerly worked here for 100.3 the Beat - twice - auditioned for a few days earlier this month, and one of her shows has been replayed several times in recent weeks. Jonesy was a controversial figure, yet one with high ratings, while hosting at the Beat from November 2002 to May 2004, when she was fired, and syndicated her Hot 97 show on the Beat from November 2007 to July 2008.
"Power is the heritage station; it's the official station of Philly," Jonesy told us yesterday. "After being on the wannabe station, it would be good to be at a company that seems to respect family, womanhood and entertainment."
A Power 99 spokeswoman says that a few hosts have been invited back to work a couple of more days and that no decision has been made about a permanent host.

Dusk, the new nightclub at Caesars in which DJ AM was a strategic partner, will be closed tonight out of respect for the DJ, who was found dead of an apparent drug overdose today in his New York apartment.
He was 36.
AM, raised as Adam Goldstein near Rittenhouse Square, had just performed at Dusk's industry party on Tuesday. He also performed there Saturday after throwing out the first pitch at the Phillies/Mets game at Citi Field in Queens.
"We are devastated by the loss of Adam Goldstein, our dear friend and valued member of the Dusk family," Nicole A. Cashman, a spokeswoman for Dusk said tonight. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones. He was a true talent who will be greatly missed." Cashman said no decision had been made about whether Dusk would open Saturday.
A Radar Online report suggest that AM, who had been clean for many years after a past of drug abuse, had been using painkillers since suffering burns last September in a South Carolina plane crash that killed four people. AM and musician Travis Barker, who was also injured, were the only survivors. AM told the New York Times in 2007 that ten years earlier, while high on crack, he tried to commit suicide with a .22 caliber pistol but the gun jammed. He credited that incident with helping inspire him to get clean. Last September, a week after the crash, Philadelphia DJ Day, turned into an event in support of an injured comrade with a hundred DJs including Mayor Nutter, once known as "Mixmaster Mike," wore t-shirts that bore DJ AM's name written in the famous lettering of RUN DMC's logo.
Daily News television writer Ellen Gray recently caught up with DJ AM about his upcoming MTV show "Gone Too Far," in which he helps stage interventions and arrange treatment for those battling drug addictions.
AM, who attended the Philadelphia School, Greenfield and Friends Central before moving to Los Angeles at 14, told Gray that "the bad things started in Philly." "It got much worse when I left. I think it's just around that time, though -- 14, 15, I was just so insecure moving to a new city, trying to fit in, that I would do anything, you know, to be accepted and liked," he told Gray last month at the Television Critics Association meetings in Los Angeles.
"The only thing that ever worked for me is when a recovering addict tried to help me," AM told reporters of his battle with drugs. "The only way I can keep it [sobriety] is if I give it away."
The show was to premiere Oct. 5. MTV has not yet announced what will be the future of the show.
Despite his involvement in an early morning brawl outside a Los Angeles nightclub, Brody Jenner, of MTV's "The Hills" and "Bromance," will still appear tonight at the Providence nightclub at Atlantic City's Tropicana, a spokeswoman confirms. According to TMZ, Jenner socked "Girls Gone Wild" founder Joe Francis outside the Guys and Dolls club after Francis punched Jenner's girlfriend, Playboy model Jayde Nicole, threw her to the ground and kicked her. Before Jenner could further pound on Francis, he was tased and fell to the ground, according to the report. Nicole reportedly threw a drink on Francis to try and get him to stop hitting on a friend of hers. We're not sure how festive he'll be feeling tonight, but Jenner, son of Olympic champion Bruce Jenner, will be hosting tonight at Providence, celebrating his recent 26th birthday tonight while DJ Jason Smith will be spinning.
