Sources say Lane's camp and CBS brass are hashing out details of whatever is about to go down, which is widely believed to be an announcement that Lane will leave the station.
Station spokeswoman Joanne Calabria offered "No comment," when asked this afternoon whether the station was planning an announcement on Monday regarding Lane's future. Asked whether Lane would be seen on-air Monday night, when she was previously scheduled to return after a three-week absence, Calabria again replied "No comment."
