Brazen thieves decided to do their holiday shopping for free, breaking storefront windows of Diesel (1507 Walnut) around 6 a.m. Monday and again this morning, crawling in and making off with over $30,000 worth of jeans and other merchandise, sources say.

Each time bricks were used to break the windows, and no employees were inside the store during either attack, which are believed to be connected. The store has turned over video surveillance footage to police, we're told. A Diesel store manager declined to comment this morning on the dual burglaries and the police department did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
