We have 2 months to learn how to dance....

Just when you thought there was enough to make fun of us about, we can now report that Your Humble Narrator will be competing in the 3rd Annual Dancing with the Philadelphia Stars, to benefit the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America's Philadelphia/Delaware Valley chapter, April 10 at the Hyatt Regency Penn's Landing.

We're facing tough competition from City Representative Melanie Johnson; KYW NewsRadio 1060's Hadas Kuznits; fashion designer Kristin Haskins-Simms, of Strangefruit, and a contestant on "Project Runway"; Maria Papadakis, daughter of late Drexel President Constantine Papadakis; Lorina Marshall Blake, VP of Government Relations at Independence Blue Cross; Girard College President Autumn Graves; Philadelphia Style editor Kristin Munro; AIDS Fund executive director Robb Reichard; and model Shari Williams, also communications specialist at the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.

All of the amateurs are being partnered with professional dancers from the Society Hill Dance Academy (2nd & Pine).

Tickets for the 5 to 10 p.m. event are $100 and available online or by calling 215-471-8686.
