Word just came in from Clearwater, where the Phillies began a "B" game against the Blue Jays at noon (the exhibition in Dunedin against Toronto began at 1), that Jayson Werth went 0-for-2 with two strikeouts in his first game action of the spring.  Werth strained his right shoulder during batting practice Friday.

Also in the B game, Jamie Moyer pitched 3 innings and allowed 2 hits (both infield singles).  He walked one and struck out four.  Joe Blanton pitched 4 innings and threw 59 pitches.  He allowed 5 hits and struck out 4.

In Dunedin, fifth starter candidate J.A. Happ allowed a two-run homer to Toronto's Adam Lind in the first inning.  He also allowed two singles and a walk in the first.  The second inning was smoother, as Happ allowed no hits, but did hit a batter.
