The afternoon starts should be on the weekend.

bush league? you do realize all the 8pm starts are 5pm California time? Let them have one afternoon game... beats a 10pm game to give them a primetime slot out west.

Bill...Yes they are all East Coast times. P Even...Actually the Yankees Game 2 on Saturday is an afternoon game, so this schedule is very fair to all teams. Phillies in 5...

They have to accomodate both LCS games on Tues and Wed, so each team gets screwed with a 4pm ET start. Quit complaining, it could be 10pm or 11pm like last year's NLDS. Now THAT was ridiculous.

SF has to have a home game at 1 PM on a Tuesday. that's absolutely brutal for them. bud selig is a clueless moron. here's a crazy idea: instead of having each series suffer through an afternoon weekday game, have one game start at 7 PM and the other at 8 PM on only one of the nights, and skip the afternoon weekday games altogether. they are on different channels afterall...

Folks: stop blaming Bud Selig for the start times; Fox controls the starting times of all games to accomodate its own scheduling. Rumor has it that if the Yankees don't make it into the World Series, all games will start after 2:00 A.M.

They should start the series earlier. The Phillies clinched on Sunday the Giants on Monday and game 1 is on saturday night. Why can't game 1 start on Thursday night and alternate the NLDS and ALDS each night?

I kind of like the 4pm start time. The shadows are going to come into play. Old time baseball.

If Hamels is pitching in the afternoon, he's not going to be happy. I wonder if Charlie will rearrange things to keep Cole in his happy place.

wrong p-diddy. It's 1 pm San Francisco time. I agree with kmon that they now have to switch the rotation with Cole going game 2. I feel like they were probably leaning that way anyway, and now it's a no-brainer. The only problem is two more off days for Roy-O.

zion-If they alternated games, the series could take as much as 14 days to complete instead of 8. And you could, theoretically get away with using just 2 starting pitchers, each on 3 days rest, for the entire series.
