Romero suffers setback
Good news for Chad Durbin, not so much for J.C. Romero and Clay Condrey. Durbin (back) will make his final rehab appearance tomorrow in Lehigh Valley; he is at the Bank today said he felt good ready to go.
According to Charlie Manuel, Romero (forearm strain) suffered a setback during a rehab game in Clearwater, Fla., last night. He experienced tightness in the same area that had been bothering him. No word on what is next for him. Condrey (oblique) “still has a ways to go” said Manuel.
Shane Victorino (knee/quad) is back in the lineup tonight.
Also, the Phils released Triple-A infielder Pablo Ozuna, suspended earlier this season for PED use. No word on whether he's blamin' the vitamins.

Rumor has it that Pablo will sign with Thirsty's Pub in the Pittsford Adult league. mick314
Nice subtle shot at Romero. Your writing style is a little elitist and upper class for this town buttercup. I think New York, along with tofu and bean sprouts is more your cup of tea. To go from Todd Zolecki to you was a ridiculous downgrade. phillyjeffsr
Shot at Papi, smart guy. Andy Martino
What's wrong with Hamels? Too many pitches last season? spinmeister
Comment removed.- phillyjeffsr: Lame, not so subtle shot at Martino. And, completely misguided, as he pointed out. Your writing style is a bit ignorant, even for this town. I think New York, or maybe Camden is more your cup of tea. To read you was a ridiculous waste of time. scottash

Then why take the time to respond? phillyjeffsr
Hamels / Utley are killing this team right.... Who would have thought.... Conshy04

I guess Romero's done for the season. Too bad about Condrey too. Hamels had no command of his changeup tonight. That was a sloppy loss to a team with an Independent League-quality team defense. The Phils should have jumped down their throats in the first few innings. frankenslade
Hamels was so-so tonight but he wasn't THAT bad. Not sure what was up with West behind the plate tonight but he was squeezing the pitchers on both sides for the first 7 innings. He wasn't giving the low strike, the high strike or anything on the corners. The HR in the first came after Hamels had strike 3 on Coghlan but it wasn't called and he had to come over the plate on a 3-2 count to the leadoff hitter. The run in the 3rd came on a forceout after Hamels again had strike 3 on a hitter but it wasn't called and the guy was given new life by the ump and hit a hard shot into the forceout. The 2 run HR in the 6th was a mistake pitch, a fastball that he left up. He threw 2 bad pitches all night. But both pitchers were forced to throw a ton of pitches because of a ridiculously narrow strike zone. If Moyer had been pitching tonight with that strike zone, he never would have gotten out of the 1st inning. The only thing that concerned me about Hamels is that he lost his cool when the ump would give him the strike calls. Last year, "Hollywood" Hamels was cool and unflappable. He's lost his cool too many times this season and that's usually when he makes a mistake pitch. He'll be alright. The offense better start knocking in guys when we've got runners in scoring position though. Haven't been doing that well at all for the last 10 games or so. JimG
Mr. Todd Pratt: I was interested in finding out what was wrong with Romero you moron. And by the way - It comes natural, thanks for asking. phillyjeffsr

Outside of JimG, this has to be the worst set of posts I've ever read. The phils bats aren't the only thing slumping. fla
